Salvage Yard and Drop Zone Bonuses Land in GTA Online

Get some garage space ready, because a free Übermacht Cypher (Sports) is coming your way in GTA Online this week.

It has become really easy to lose sight of how rarely we’re actually Grand Thieving some Autos in GTA Online these days, but luckily this week’s bonus offerings are here to remind us. Rockstar is returning to the series’ roots with the headlining bonus, but as always there are plenty of exciting opportunities to choose from.

If you don’t have a Salvage Yard yet; first of all, why? It is a great way to make some cash, especially earlier on or for shorted gaming sessions! Secondly, you will need one to benefit from this week’s main bonus opportunity, which is nabbing a free custom Übermacht Cypher (Sports).

By completing The Gangbanger Robbery and springing King Tiny from the slammer using the tricked out getaway car, you get the option of keeping the ride for yourself once the mission is over. Other Salvage Yard Robbery Targets this week include the Pfister Neon (Sports) and the Albany Brigham (Muscle).

What’s all the buzz about?

Working your Salvage Yard is also the foremost way to make Career Progress this week. Stealing and selling prized rides this week will let you blast through 4 tiers of challenges, unlocking rewards ranging from the humble Red’s Cap to the much more imposing Gold Buzzard Attack Chopper. Talk about a quick escalation!

When it comes to earning extra for your endeavors, the Drop Zone Adversary Mode will be your go-to activity for the week, paying out a tidy 3x GTA$ and RP through the 22nd of May. Sticking to a similar theme of jumping from excessive heights and ideally not becoming a red smear on the ground, Junk Energy Skydives also pay out triple rewards – and 6x rewards for GTA+ subscribers.

Time for the mavericks among you to shine.

That’s a bit less than what we usually get out of these weekly bonuses, but luckily you can also earn a one-time payout of GTA$100,000 by earning 5 gold medals across said skydives. Skilled pilots also get their chance to shine as Air Races are paying out double GTA$ and RP this week, and 4x rewards for GTA+ members.

Vehicular offers these week include:

  • Premium Deluxe Motorsport Showroom
    • Enus Stafford (Sedan)
    • Lampadati Pigalle (Sports Classic)
    • Nagasaki Hot Rod Blazer (Off-Road)
    • Vapid Riata (Off-Road)
    • Dinka Double-T (Motorcycle)
  • Luxury Autos Showroom
    • Bravado Dorado (SUV)
    • Albany Cavalcade XL (SUV)
  • Hao’s Special Works
    • Grotti Brioso R/A (Compact)
  • LS Car Meet
    • Vapid Dominator ASP (Muscle)
    • Ocelot Lynx (Sports)
    • Dinka Jester (Sports)
    • Pegassi Vacca (Super)

Standout discounts this week include Hangar Properties, Upgrades, and Modifications at 30% off, while the Hangar Staff Source Air Freight Cargo Fee has been slashed in half. You’ll also need to fill up that Hangar once you bought it, so a wide array of Buckingham helicopters, as well as the Jobuilt Velum 5-Seater (Plane), are 30% off.

Make the most of your booming Salvage Yard business, and don’t forget to check back next week to see what else Rockstar has in store for GTA Online bonuses!
