Superyacht Life Bonuses Set Sail in GTA Online

Yachts take center stage in this week's GTA Online bonuses, with bigger payouts on A Superyacht Life missions and discounts on the boats themselves.

There’s nothing quite like enjoying the fresh salty sea air while listening to the gentle lapping of waves on board your favorite personal floating ecological disaster – except for maybe a psychedelic out of body experience as a fish. If you think these musings to be oddly specific, they’re hints at the kinds of bonuses you can look forward to in GTA Online this week.

Owners of a luxurious Galaxy Super Yacht can ring up Captain Darcy to partake in A Superyacht Life missions for double the usual GTA$ and RP rewards – unless you are a GTA+ subscriber, in which case you get 4x rewards. Non-owners of a luxurious Galaxy Super Yacht can instead take advantage on a 30% discount on said boats.

Fiercely brandishing weapons is not our idea of a “superyacht life”, but in GTA Online, it is.

There are also some additional one-time rewards to earn with these missions, as completing any A Superyacht Life mission will get you a GTA$ 100,000 bonus, and these also contribute towards your weekly challenge of completing three missions, also netting you GTA$ 100,000.

For players on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, A Superyacht Life missions will also help with the Career Progress system, unlocking themed items as you climb the ranks on the reward track. These include the Captain Cap at tier 1, the Superyacht Life Hoodie at tier 4, and more.

If massive yachts and related errands your cup of tea, there are other ways to engage in oceanic activities in keeping with the theme of this week’s bonuses. The elusive and highly desirable Peyote Plants are making a temporary return to GTA Online, appearing exclusively underwater and thus fittingly turning players into a Killer Whale, Tiger Shark, Dolphin, Stingray, Hammerhead Shark, or Fish.

Yachts are, ironically, a tool for more earning in GTA Online rather than just another money sink.

Those of you preferring dry land over the high seas aren’t hung out to, uh, dry either. The Extraction Adversary Mode, fitting in perfectly with a specific game genre that recently has been enjoying a boom in popularity, is paying out triple the usual rewards through the 15th of May. You can always dive back into the ocean to dig up Hidden Caches, paying out 2x RP and GTA$.

Vehicular offers this week include:

  • LS Car Meet
    • Vapid GB200 (Sports)
    • Ocelot Locust (Sports)
    • Enus Paragon R (Sports)
    • Bravado Verlierer (Sports)

    • Pegassi Bati 801RR (Motorcycle)
  • Luxury Autos Showroom
    • Grotti Turismo Omaggio (Super)

Alongside the previously mentioned 30% discount on all Galaxy Superyachts, the same rebate is valid for a wide array of other water vehicles, including the Shitzu Longfin, the Lampadati Toro, the Dinka Marquis, the Pegassi Speeder, the Shitzu Jetmax and the Kraken Avisa.

Set sail for all those lucrative GTA$ payout opportunities, but don’t forget to return to dock and drop anchor next week to learn about new bonuses in GTA Online!

I am too broke to afford one even if they are on sale LOL

What is the point of the yachts exactly? I don't really even see very many people using them.

Honestly? It is basically just stuff you buy when you have bought everything else you wanted. This is especially true for the super yachts.

Do you actually need to own a yacht to do the A Superyacht Life missions? I don't want to buy one but I would like to do the mission to get the 100k.

Yeah you need to own one cause you have to access the missions on the yacht itself.

I can only just afford a yacht even with the sale. I am not sure I wan't to bite the bullet on it. I mean even if I played daily, I would not be able to earn the cost back.

I know this feel. They always seem to go on sale when I just don't have the extra cash for one. I could get one and have a few mil left but I like to have no less than 5 mil in my bank.

Do you think someone that is new could save up in time to get one before the sale ends?

A friend of mine started playing which got me back into playing and he wants a yacht but I am not sure how long it would take to earn that amount of money for him.

At this point, no. The highest paying things you can do in the game (heists) can't be done back to back without a cool-down. They will go on sale again so I would tell your friend not to worry about getting it right now.
