Do we know how long the story is going to be yet?

Like in terms of how long it will take to complete on average (play hours).

I am not sure if those details have been mentioned or not. I know we are still a year and who knows how many months out at this point so information about the game seems to have come to an almost standstill since the hype with the trailer died down a bit.

Well, GTA 5 story mode was like 30-35 hours on average, GTA 4 story was more 25-30 hours.

So, I'm thinking if Rockstar keeps to that trend, we could be looking at maybe 40 hours give or take?

I am guessing it will be closer to 40 hours. It will be a bit longer than GTA 5 was but also likely to have more side missions and things to do to keep you interested.

No official word on this but I am guessing it will be at least 35 hours. I feel like GTA 5 would have been longer if they stuck with the original plan of having story-mode DLC. Some speculate that GTA 6 actually will have some but who knows.

I honestly don't care how long or short it is, just so long as it is enjoyable. I have been let down by so many games since GTA 5 came out it isn't even funny. I don't even go out of my way to buy new games anymore. I wait until I can get them on sale, play older games, or just play free to play games.

The last rumor I saw was 31 hours which seems about right if you ignore all the side missions and extras in the game. Guessing with everything it will be around 38-40 hours.

If they intend on doing story DLC (press X for doubt?) then it will probably be on the shorter side so prob like 25-30 hours but that is still a massive game. If they aren't doing DLC, it will probably be 35-40 hours.
