GTA 6 Release Date: Will Rockstar Delay the Game to 2026?

Why? Cause people don't want to go back to work? Then fire them. I don't get this. Like COVID is considered to be treated like any other standard flu and that was as of LAST YEAR. Some places started that in 2022 with studies finding the newest variants are extremely weak. Ugggg.......

Kotaku is a joke and not a reliable place for gaming news. The writers there are insane activists that hate everything. I would not trust them with any news involving GTA or any other major game release. They are down to like 7 writers and very close to being shut down for good.

Was going to say this. They have not been a serious gaming news site in years. I don't know anyone that reads their garbage anymore. It is nothing but opinions and hit pieces on players and games players actually enjoy vs what they don't.

I would really hate if it got pushed back another year, especially for something like this. Like people not wanting to work in person. Maybe I am reading this wrong but if they don't want to come into work, that should be grounds for being fired, no??

Considering the source, I am just going to ignore this for the time being.

They already said the game is coming out in 2025. Even the trailer states that. They marked it in stone pretty much cause they are likely in the testing phases already. Maybe online access will be delayed but the game itself will not be.

This would be a massive L if this is the case. Like I understand that delays can happen but the reason for this delay would be met with a lot of backlash from players. I know if a delay was down to people not wanting to do their jobs, I would be livid.

And would you look at that...

These sites are a joke. I just can't believe anyone follows them for credible news anymore. Kotaku like many other gaming news sites will fall out of relevancy in the coming years in favor of niche news sites like Boom and I welcome it.
