Furniture Market Place in GTA 6

I liked that in GTA 5 we had the option to own a house, an apartment, or a condo but I feel like the houses were too similar.

I would like to see variation of the interior for them. Maybe a market place of sorts. They don't need physical stores, they can make a few options. Have their version of IKEA for example and call it... Idk, IZEA or something. And then have some sort of Amazon store as well. Allow us to browse and buy different furniture, appliances, and general decor. They can always add to the catalog too and it would help them sell more shark cards which I know they would love.

I actually really like this idea! I feel like that is one of the most boring things about online. All the houses/apartments look and feel the same. Nothing really sets them apart outside of the Casino ones and those get boring fast too.

I wanna give this a bump cause I was recently thinking about this. I know not every player cares about details like this but it would be cool for people that do. Like I would be buying stuff and customizing the crap out of my house/apartment. It could be another way they can make money from shark cards too cause people will have more to buy with in game currency.

Yeah. As it stands, almost all the interiors are exactly the same, which lacks excitement, to be honest. Allowing players to edit their interiors after purchasing from an in-game store would also be awesome.

It might be a bit controversial, but if Rockstar Games has issues with the addition of an editing feature due to hardware limitations, they can add an "artificial load" option that allows players to add a limited number of items in their apartments, but not so limited where they cannot fully furnish the place. This is a feature in a game called Genshin Impact, although not received well due to very high restrictions when placing objects (understandably so, as it is a mobile game).

But I believe Rockstar games can pull it off without the load feature, as the newer hardware is perfectly capable of handling these things.

Objects in games that are decoration only also take up such little space. Like just let us have options for bedding, sofas, ect. and let us pick the colors of the walls. Just small changes like that will make it more appealing to spend time in those spaces. I honestly only ever go into mine in online when I am avoiding other players. lol

there is a lot they can do to add realism to the game that otherwise felt lacking in GTA 5 and this is something I would be impressed with and absolutely would make use of. Can even make it so we can rob stores for items to add to our apartments too. Maybe have like a museum heist where you can opt to keep a stolen painting and hang it in your apartment rather than selling it.

Exactly! Even minor features such as color changing can go a long way. I can't remember the last time I visited ANY apartment of mine lol

Apartments suck in GTA 5. Like for real. I thought they were going to add way more options than they did but it never happened. It seems like something that would have been so easy to do too. Like I know they have ladies working for Rockstar, this is something I would expect female devs to be keen on adding. Even my girlfriend said it is lame you can't actually edit anything in the apartments and she don't play these sorts of games. She plays sims lol

There really isn't any point. Like at first it was cool but once you watch all the stuff on the TV there is nothing else to do. They need to make them a bigger deal in the next game. Would be cool to have a party feature too where you can host parties.

Yeah exactly, currently, there is no incentive to visit it unless you're just trying to chill with friends in a casual session.

The apartments are lame and repetitive. They make you pay a huge extra fee just to have, what... 3 color/theme options for the entire thing? I for sure would welcome more options. Sofas, TVs, computers, appliances, bedding, posters, and general clutter. Like if there are in game collectibles, let us be able to display them in a better way too.
