Will we see our "crimes" on social media in the game?

Some people have been speculating that the crimes we commit and heists we do in the game will end up on GTA's social media within the world and we will see NPCs commenting on them and sharing them. I wonder if things will be even more in-depth where if someone films you and uploads it to a social platform, it will help the cops to identify you so you have to change clothing or your appearance to not be seen. How in depth do you think this stuff will get?

We had crimes shown on the TV as "news" so I would imagine we will see it in some way, shape, or form. I don't know how into this they will get though especially for online. Seems like it would be a pain in the arse to code reactions and comments on videos like that.

I would be fine with this being minimal and having other players able to just react to videos. I don't think having comments is a good idea. I would imagine people would be posting stuff and just getting nasty comments from other players.

They are clearly going to have some sort of tiktok/vine/instagram inspired social media platform in the game. I didn't see any clues as to what it was called.

I wonder if we will get an irl app to use with the game to make it more fun.

As long as they do it right and it isn't overkill, I am fine with this. It would play into the parody of real life and mock everything about it lol

If they are really going to go headfirst into the social media nonsense, which they seem to be with this game, I fully expect stuff like this in the game. They have have random wild animal encounters too and if you happen to be in the area and record it on your phone, you can go viral from it. Maybe make it so you can get paid doing this. Like some news outlet pays for the rights of your video.

This. I don't want it to be too much of the game or play that big of a part of it. Yes, make fun of it. I always make fun of tiktokers and "influencers" lol but if they push it too much it will be annoying.
