Are there any specific activities or side missions you're hoping to see?

I know a lot of people are speculating the story and stuff like that but I am more curious about the filler. For me, a game having good filler extends the fun I have within the game itself and a lot of this stuff can be used online as well when that goes live. So what in particular are you hoping to see in terms of specific activities or side-missions, you know, filler activities?

I want to see more NPC interactions in general. More variety there. Maybe have it where you stop someone after they rob a store and the owner decides to call the cops on you instead of giving you reward money.

Also, I want to see surfing, skateboarding, rollerblading, and street races at night.

Red Dead had fishing and considering the location, I think we can at least expect to see that in the game.

I would like to also see owning pets as an option, even if they have to stay in our apartments. A friend of mine mentioned having a few gyms in the game to up your strength and speed. So instead of running around doing it that way, you can go to a gym and build up stats that way. Maybe have a shooting range to improve shooting skills too.

I think most of the activities I would like to see have been mentioned already. I do like the idea of there being street racing within the world.

So for side missions, maybe more collecting of items. Less repetitiveness. Wouldn't mind some stuff where you have to steal parts from different cars or areas to have a custom car built for you.

Hmm. Gyms is an interesting concept to boost player stats like stamina and strength. I am not sure if this would be something they would ever consider but it could be interesting!

I want to see more side missions that involve the world and the NPCs. They have a decent amount in GTA 5 but considering the size of the map, it still feels like there should be more.
That is a fair point. I mean a lot of people have said even with the size, much of the map just felt dead and it is likely down to this. Well, and buildings you can't actually enter but rumors suggest we will be able to enter way more in the next game.

I mean you can just have the basics in there. Running on a treadmill for stamina. Weight machines for strength. They can even make it more realistic where you can gain and lose weight since we see in the trailer there are at least 3 body types for both genders.

I would love just more passive or "good guy" side missions and general actions on the map. Like being able to help people that have been carjacked, robbed, beat up, etc. and gaining RP and rewards for that.

I really want to see more side quests where NPCs have some emotions and don't just feel like "NPCs." I want to see more interactions similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. How your interaction with someone in the future will be determined by how you interacted with them early on. Makes the game feel so much more immersive.

I still remember one interaction in RDR2 where Arthur meets this nun at the train station talking about how he is scared and the scene was so powerful. We meet this nun early on in the game. And the fact that the person who you meet here is different based on who your decisions leading up to that scene (nun or Reverend). Really leaves a mark!

With AI now, it is possible to not only start with certain NPC quests/requests but build off them depending on the outcome. Like say one is getting car jacked and you opt to help but bring the car back totaled, they will view you as negative and not reward you with anything but if you bring it back in decent condition they aware you and view as someone they can contact in the future for help.

So similar to what they did in RDR2 where people would remember you and your actions. I would love this in GTA 6. They must be adding it, no way they don't. It will be a more polished version than what we saw in RDR2 as well.

This is exactly what I am hoping since we already know that RDR2's engine was supposed to be used for GTA 5. And if THAT is considered a "test engine" for GTA 6, then I have no doubt it is going to far exceed the expectations!

Yup. I fully expect this level of integration in the next game.

It is going to add to the realism not only to the city but the interactions you have with NPCs which will add so much value to the single player but also enhance online once it gets launched.

I want minor NPC requests. Like mini missions. Give us like a craigslist in game but for odd gigs and jobs and you can agree to take them. You go to the NPC and do the task they request and based on how good you do (how fast, quality of work, etc.) your reward will fluctuate. Maybe make it so you do so many jobs for the same person, they become a contact for you and you always have a means to make extra side cash.

I was going to mention this. I like the idea and concept of being able to earn from doing minor tasks for randoms in the game. Having them be added as a contact would be a good touch. Maybe they offer you higher paying gigs as well and if you mess up badly or too much they tell you to lose their number lol

Fishing. I think it will be in the game. They can just use RDR2's fishing model which worked fine to me. Most people are saying it will or should be in the game given the location but I don't remember seeing anyone fishing in the trailer.
