Troy Baker Confirms He’s Not the Voice Behind GTA 6’s Protagonist, Jason

I had to look up who Troy was. lol I really don't know too many voice actor's names honestly. Not something I pay attention to. I doubt it is him, especially now with him saying it is not.

If you look at the cast from GTA 5 you will notice every character looks similar to the role they play. So whoever is playing Jason will look a lot like him.

This is exactly what I am thinking. Whoever it is, he will look similar to Jason. Not a single person speculated looked like Jason to me. So I don't think we are anywhere closer to figuring out who his voice actor is.
 
I am still shocked no one has figured out the names yet. I feel like when we do find out, it will have looked and felt so painfully obvious lol

What are the odds that it is James McCaffrey that voiced him? I know he died last year but his voice sounds similar to Jason.

How many famous male voice actors are there? It would be 1 in whatever that number is. lol

I doubt the dude that voiced Max Payne is going to be doing someone in GTA. I know they are both Rockstar properties but come on now. Also I think the last project he worked on was Alan Wake II.
 
What did James die from? I don't even remember at this point. I can't see him doing the voice for this character either. I mean he only says one word in the entire trailer from what I could remember. Can't really pinpoint a voice based on one word.

That is fair I guess. I just haven't seen his name being thrown around at all even though he is a Rockstar asset for his voice work.
