This has since been removed but some people managed to see it live on the site.

They had a new redirect go live by mistake. I think they are prepping for the next trailer drop. Should be soon!

Most people are speculating that this is the case. I mean they set up the screen but accidentally had it go live too soon lol
 
Leonida? Did we know this was the state location already? I don't remember hearing it be called that. Maybe I am just forgetting about it being said. I have seen/heard so many rumors about the game I have lost track lol
 
Fingers are crossed man! I have wanted some update since the trailer. I get why they want to space it out cause it isn't coming out until 2025 but we need something. It just sucks waiting.
 
Well I guess we know for sure it isn't coming out in 2025 for PC... LOL

I wonder who messed this up and if they got in trouble for it. I hope they just laughed it off. I know the people working for the company have been under stress in recent years.
 
I am guessing the next trailer will be focused on Jason this time since we honestly didn't see much of him or hear much from him in the first one. We will see his back story a bit and how he connects with the gal.

We knew about this last year. Rockstar announced it. It wasn't in the trailer, they confirmed the name themselves.
 
Does anyone know how many trailers is standard for Rockstar? Like how many did RDR2 get? I can't remember.

I feel like we will see at least 3 more. One closer to summer, one at the end of the year, and then one for 2025 to promote the game pre and post release.

RDR2 had three main trailers for the base game. They had tons more for updates, online, and ports as well but I am not going to count those since this was after the official release.

The first two happened in 2017 (the year prior to the game's release) and the final one happened about 6 months before the release of the game in 2018.

So I think we can expect one more this year and one next year and that is it.
 
I think we might get smaller teasers this time around. Like short form funny videos that appear to be tiktok vids but of NPC characters in game.

For anyone wondering why Rockstar went with Leonida for the state of Florida...

Since it seems like not everyone is entirely familiar with the name or even the origin, I figured I would post a bit about it. San Andreas is named after the fault line and I think most people know that by now but what about Leonida? It turns out that they actually didn't just pull this name...

I made a thread for it. I don't think most players are aware of the detail behind the name. It is quite interesting and cool IMO.

Thanks for filling me in. I was not sure what they did for that one. I honestly could not remember. I guess what you said makes sense. Likely what they will do again.
 
I think there are rumors that some game fest will have some sort of trailer be released at it but idk. I don't think those have enough hype since E3 died.

That summer game fest? I don't know if Rockstar will be a part of that. I didn't heat anything about it. It seems like it will be rather small if you ask me. No one cares about gaming conventions anymore.
 
If we do get one I doubt it will be anytime soon. We will probably have another one when it is a year out from being released. So sometime in the fall.
