What GTA 5 version should I buy on Xbox

I am so confused cause there are so many options for sale now. What version of GTA 5 should I be buying for my Xbox? I have an Xbox One still. I don't have an S or X but apparently it would still work on mine? So yeah, I have no idea what to buy tbh.

Just get the Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition. You should be able to catch it on sale or on a deal. You can also get it through the game pass and save $5. The optimized version will not work on the Xbox One.

I had a friend that bought the wrong version. I wish they would label these things better. Like let people know without having to dig around for it. Maybe have the console itself recommend it so you know which to buy.

For Xbox One, this is the only version I know that works. Outside of the older ones which isn't worth getting at this point.

You can just make a thread on the forum under the online section. I am sure that won't be an issue.
