Other games like GTA 5

I like the general open-world city vibe from GTA games. I am trying to find something similar to play while I wait for the next one. I love GTA 5 but sometimes I cannot be arsed to play it. I want something fresh to have in my rotation. Does anyone know any other games that are similar to GTA 5?

I only know of Watch Dogs but that is much smaller and more based on a hacker gimmick. So like when you are walking around the city, you can see every NPC's details and information.

Crackdown if you don't mind the game being older. I loved that game and it functions very similar to GTA but you are a cop.

This is probably the most similar in terms of newer games.

It is all too obvious but RDR and RDR2. I am assuming no one mentioned that yet cause most GTA players likely played those games as well. lol Mafia 3 is another option though. Just Cause 4 is another.

I was going to mention RDR as well. I never played Just Cause but I did play Mafia 3 and it is pretty similar in many regards.

It is a lot smaller but it is modern and takes place in an open city. It is just more "realistic" in some ways.

I forgot about this game!! Felt like a more "serious" GTA like it didn't have the dumb humor or anything. It was a decent game.
