Will GTA 5 ever be on Switch!

There are rumors that a new Switch is already in the works and the rumors are suggesting that it can be out as early as 2024 which is crazy. It took me forever to actually get my Switch and I had been hoping GTA 5 would come to it but it has not. Now I am not sure if it ever will! Did anyone hear anything about this recently?
 
The Switch can't handle the game. I looked into the hardware. It would not run right and would require all sorts of tweaking that Rockstar is very unlikely to bother with. Plus, Nintendo is rumored to have a new Switch coming out soon so maybe it will be ported to that?
 
The next Switch console is actually rumored to be coming our early 2024 and I think we may end up seeing GTA 5 on that upgraded model. We will have to wait and see though.
 
I heard about the rumors with a new Switch. I am not sure what the specs are going to be but they are dumping A LOT of money into it. I am guessing it will be able to manage bigger titles. Maybe even Cyberpunk 2077 will end up on the Switch.

I think it has pretty much been confirmed. Microsoft and Nintendo have been sharing little bedroom secrets with each other. I think this is going to lead to some issues in the Japanese market between Sony and Nintendo. Console Wars : Evolution lol

I was just saying this the other day. They did do a deal. I think, at least from what I have heard, it is mostly with Activision stuff. Not really anything else. It shouldn't impact GTA 6 or any game outside of Activision.
 
I don't think GTA 5 will be but if Nintendo upgrades their system enough, I can see a version of GTA 6 being on it. Though we have to remember that Nintendo primarily focuses on their own titles and makes systems for those above anything else.

If GTA 6 is a few years out yet, I am sure they will try to squeeze a bit more money out of GTA 5. No doubt. This is Rockstar after all but they do know once they launch the new game, most people will drop GTA 5 like a hot potato.

I didn't know about this. How much weight is behind this rumor?

I think that might be a fair take on things. If GTA 6 comes out soonish, it would probably be a waste of time/money to port GTA 5 to Switch.

None apparently. They announced it is just going to be a port and it is an overpriced port at that. $50... ffs what is wrong with these people?

I checked the starts and on PS, it is number one in sales. Maybe this is all the people that missed out on playing it cause they were too young at the time or maybe this is just down to people wanting to play it again.
 
Considering they just released RDR on Switch and PS, I think it will. But maybe it will be on the new Switch instead. Whatever they are calling it, I don't even know! lol
 
There was a rumor for it to be released but I think it ended up being the rumor for RDR. I have not heard anything on it recently. I am guessing if it does go to the Switch, it won't be until after the new game is out and not for a while yet.

I just don't see it happening at all. People want to play GTA 6 at this point not keep getting more ports of GTA 5.
