What is the best way to deal with Oppressor MK2 trolls?

Like outside of just hiding in your apartment.

A friend of mine recently started playing again and got pissed last night when we were playing cause this douche back on an MK2 kept targeting him. I don't want him to quit over people like this. What is a good way to actually deal with these types of players?
 
I find it easier to manage these when I am not in a vehicle. When you are in one you are more of a sitting target. You want to get some distance and target them on foot.
 
The Nightshark is the best vehicle IMO to handle them but a good trick to remember is that flares will redirect active missiles from them away from you. You can just drop a bunch of flares and if they are low enough and chasing, they usually just take themselves out lol

Does this really work? I never heard of this before and I am honestly mad I haven't! I had to deal with so many of these trolls it is insane. I am going to have to try this.
 
I second sniping them down with explosive ammo. I have tried other approaches. I am not good enough with flying to target them in the air so I just find cover and snipe.
 
When you see them flying around the map just avoid them. If you have to go in the direction of one and feel they will target you, just make sure you have something you can fire at them with. Can be something you carry or something an armored vehicle can provide.
