February 29 GTA Online Update Puts The Pedal To The Metal

Los Santos' streets are heating up for those with a real thirst for speed and new car meet bonuses to incentivize meeting other gear heads.

The latest update to GTA Online on February 29 has put a new spin on things, literally. It’s revving the engines of Los Santos’ denizens with a slew of fresh content, races, and rewards.

The Los Santos racing circuit is now more alive than ever, thanks to a fresh mix of Drift and Drag Races that push the players to their limits, each with lucrative rewards to match. Drift Races are challenging the players to maintain control and precision amidst chaos, rewarding successful drifts with double the usual rewards.

At the other end of the spectrum, Drag Races test players’ reflexes and strategic use of Nitrous to outpace competitors, also doubling the rewards for the ones who come out on top. Both types of races are available for all GTA Online players with an LS Car Meet Membership until March 6.

For the gearheads who prefer a more traditional racing experience, Land Races offer a straightforward rush to the finish line with a double payout in GTA$ and RP. Similarly, Issi Classic Races put the iconic compact car through its paces while offering the same enhanced rewards. LS Car Meet activities further enrich the racing scene, doubling LS Car Meet Reputation points for participants in Time Trials, Scrambles, and more, bolstering their street credibility within the game.

The February 29 update is one of the best times to upgrade your garage and get yourself a real speedster.

Nice week for salvage yard targets if I must say so myself.

What are the community series jobs? Is there a list for these I can look over?

It changes and updates. You will have to check online in-game.

When you are online, open the pause menu and go to the online tab and under select jobs > play jobs you will find community jobs. When you open that you will be given a list. This is how it was when I last played these. Not sure if it has been updated or not since.

Not really into the car meet stuff myself but maybe now is the time I check it out a bit more for the added bonuses.

Feels like a week off for me. Nothing really sparking my interest at the moment. I feel like the updates will start to get better again heading into spring and summer.

Wish I was better at racing. I have tried so many times and it seems no matter what car I use, I just absolutely suck at it. I feel like I am missing something with the controls cause some people make it look so dang easy.

So I was playing last night and was messing around in the casino. Wanted to spin the wheel but had to wait for the 24 hour mark. Lost track of time and ended up doing something else. Ended up going back before logging off and I won. I actually won the Vapid Flash GT! o_O
