GTA 5 Cheats Overview

GTA 5 cheat codes unlock all weapons, let you change your wanted level up or down, and give you all kinds of other power-ups in the game like invincibility, flaming ammo, and super jump.

To use GTA V cheats on PS4, PS3 or PS5 (any PlayStation console) enter them using your controller, or by dialling the numbers listed into your in-game cellphone. Just make sure you press the button combo relatively quickly, so that it registers and the game recognizes it as a cheat code. You must use the digital pad (d-pad) for any directions, as opposed to the analog sticks on your controller.

Using any cheats in GTA 5 will disable Trophies for the rest of your session, so always save your game first.

If you’re wondering why there’s no money cheat, there’s a very good reason for that: it would ruin the game’s stock market feature. The cheats also only work in GTA 5’s story mode and they will not get you banned.

Overview: GTA 5 Cheats For Xbox

To enable GTA 5 cheats on all Xbox platforms – the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, or Xbox 360 – all you need is the right button sequence, or you can use the in-game smartphone feature (Xbox One and Series X|S only). If you choose to use the button combos, just make sure you press the buttons relatively quickly and use the d-pad, not the analog sticks, for directions.

Refer to our cheats list below and soon you’ll be activating unlimited health, spawning vehicles, accessing all the weapons, and other power-ups. Just remember to save your game before you use the cheats, since once you use them, you won’t be able to earn any Achievements.

Intro

GTA 5 cheats on PC are activated by typing in the codes on your keyboard. You simply need to press the tilde (~) key (Shift + `), which will bring up in the in-game console, similar to a development menu. Then, just type in one of the cheat codes from below and press enter.

The cheats let you become invincible, spawn vehicles, access all the weapons, and basically do whatever you want. However, you must always save your game before using them, as once you have activated cheats, then you won’t be able to earn Achievements for the rest of your session. So, you need a save game you can return to, without cheats enabled.

If you’d like to see a demo video of any cheat just click it’s title and, if you’re looking for a money cheat, there isn’t one. That would mess up the in-game stock market mechanics.

  • Drunk Mode: LIQUOR
    Makes it very hard to drive, run, and even walk.

  • Fast Run: CATCHME
    Like the cheat name says, makes you run faster.

  • Fast Swim: GOTGILLS
    Your swimming speed is greatly increased.

  • Recharge Ability: POWERUP
    The special ability of your current character is fully recharged and ready for use.

  • Skyfall: SKYFALL
    Will transport you instantly into mid-air, doing a skydive, and with no way to use a parachute.

  • Super Jump: HOPTOIT
    You can jump much higher than usual. Hold the jump button (SPACEBAR) to do even bigger jumps.

  • Explosive Ammo Rounds: HIGHEX
    Your ammo rounds will explode on impact.

  • Explosive Melee Attacks: HOTHANDS
    Your melee attacks become explosive, does no harm to you though.

  • Flaming Bullets: INCENDIARY
    Your rounds will set whatever they hit on fire.

  • Lower Wanted Level: LAWYERUP
    Use this to decrease your wanted level by one star.

  • Raise Wanted Level: FUGITIVE
    Use this to increase your wanted level by one star.

  • Invincibility / God Mode: PAINKILLER
    Makes you invulnerable for 5 minutes before you need to enter the code again to keep it going.

  • Max Health & Armor: TURTLE
    Your armor and health are replenished back to full.

  • Slow Motion Aim: DEADEYE
    You have much more time to aim your weapon. Increase the effect by entering the code up to 4x. If you enter it a fifth time, the cheat will be disabled.

  • Parachute: SKYDIVE
    Equips you with a parachute. Just equip it and press the LEFTBUTTON on your mouse to activate.

  • Weapons / Guns: TOOLUP
    You’ll get all the guns in the game, along with full ammo supplies.

Cheats Overview

You can use the cell phone cheats in GTA 5 to unlock vehicles and weapons, become invincible, lower your wanted level and much more.

To activate the cheats, bring out your phone by pressing UP on the d-pad (on consoles), or “T” or BACKSPACE on PC. Then, go to your contacts list and then press X on Xbox, SQUARE on PlayStation, or SPACEBAR or MIDDLEMOUSEBUTTON on PC. This will bring up the dial pad.

Then enter the phone number that corresponds to the cheat you wish to activate from the list below (or, if you want to use the cheat you last entered, just press * on the dial pad, which is the redial button).     GTA San Andreas Cheats Overview

    If you’re looking for the Xbox One cheat codes for GTA San Andreas, which also work on the Xbox 360 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game, you’ve come to the right place.

    How-to Use GTA San Andreas Cheats

    1. Save The Game

      You should always save your game first, before you start to use cheats. Since Achievements will be disabled by entering any cheat code, it’s important to keep a “clean” save to return to and continue your game.

      You activate cheats in San Andreas on Xbox by pressing the relevant buttons from the code on your controller, during regular gameplay. There is no need to pause the game. GTA San Andreas iOS and Android Cheats

If you’re looking for cheat codes to use in the mobile versions of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, including via Netflix Games, we have them all. This guide will show you exactly how to use the cheats, including the “secret” mobile only codes. Just be aware that it’s not as simple as on other platforms.

  1. Add A Keyboard To Your Phone

    : 

    Using GTA cheats on mobile isn’t as straight forward as it is on consoles and PC. You need to connect an external keyboard to your phone via bluetooth or USB, or download a third-party app that allows you to access a virtual keyboard while playing the game (for example, Hacker’s Keyboard for Android).
    Hacker’s Keyboard is a free app that you can download on mobile and set it as your default keyboard. Once set as a default keyboard, it can be accessed by tapping on the Hacker’s Keyboard notification icon while in-game (by sliding down from the top of the screen). This will make the keyboard show up in-game, where you can type in your cheat codes.

  2. Save The Game

    : 

    Create a new save file before you start using these cheats. Since Achievements will be disabled by entering any cheat code, it’s important to keep a “clean” save for the future.

  3. Choose The Code

  • Stats Changer: “XBOX_HELPER”
    Changes various in-game stats: money spent on tattoos, times Carl has been busted, and pedestrians wasted. Complete each action one more time and the relevant Achievement would be unlocked (if cheats didn’t disable Achievements).

GTA 4 cheats let you instantly spawn vehicles like the Annihilator Attack Chopper, restore Niko’s health, gain superpowers, and change your wanted level.

We’ve tested each of these cheat codes ourselves, on all the platforms that you can play GTA 4 on: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PC.

Before using the cheat codes, just make sure you save your game, as cheats will disable Achievements and Trophies. Then, bring out your phone with UP on the d-pad or keyboard. Next, open the dial pad by pressing UP once more and enter the full code. Call it by pressing ENTER.
