The Chop Shop update brought a game-changing feature for players who have long dreamed of owning their own police vehicles. No more endless hours of driving around Los Santos hoping to stumble upon a rare unmarked FIB car or a coveted cop cruiser.
Players can now purchase three different types of police vehicles directly from the Warstock Cache & Carry vehicle store, putting an end to the reliance on luck to acquire these sought-after rides.
Additionally, players who complete “The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid” mission as a leader will unlock the Gauntlet Interceptor, adding even more variety to the police vehicle lineup.
The available police vehicles for purchase include an unmarked cruiser perfect for undercover operations, a fully-equipped Stanier LE Cruiser ready for high-speed chases, and a formidable Police Riot van built to handle the most intense situations. However, you need to complete specific challenges and save up a substantial amount of $GTA, as these exclusive vehicles come with a premium price tag.
Fortunately, players can also unlock a discounted trade price for each vehicle by completing specific challenges (noted below), which can be done in both public and solo sessions, making it more accessible for players of all preferences.
We explain everything below!
Unmarked Cruiser
The Unmarked Cruiser, which is a highly sought-after vehicle in GTA Online for its rarity, can now be acquired from the Warstock Cache & Carry vehicle store for $3,950,000 ($2,962,500 trade price).
You can unlock the Unmarked Cruiser by surviving a 3-star wanted level or above for a duration of 5 minutes. This can be easily achieved if you eliminate some cops to raise your wanted level and fly around in one of the flying vehicles with a homing missile feature (a Buzzard or an Oppressor Mark II).
Unlock Trade Price
To unlock the trade price for the Unmarked Cruiser, simply complete the Gangbanger Robbery as a leader.
Stanier LE Cruiser
The Stanier LE Cruiser LSPD cop vehicle is available for a whopping $4,690,000 ($3,517,500 trade price). As mentioned earlier, these police vehicles really do come with a hefty cost, setting players back by millions.
To unlock the Stanier LE Cruiser, players need to scope out Mission Row Police Station as part of the Gangbanger Robbery missions. You will get this mission automatically as part of the Gangbanger Robbery, and it doesn’t require any specific strategy to complete.
Unlock Trade Price
To unlock the trade price for the Stanier LE Cruiser, you need to find and collect one piece of evidence from a crime scene as part of The Gangbanger Robbery missions.
Police Riot
The Police Riot is approximately $100K more expensive than the Stanier LE Cruiser and can be purchased for $4,800,000 ($3,600,000 trade price). To unlock the Police Riot, you need to naturally lose a 4 or 5 star wanted level.
There is a very simple trick to achieve this easily. First, as always, raise your wanted level to 4 or 5 star, and then get in your vehicle and make your way to the sewage tunnel near the Diamond Casino.
If you go to the middle of the tunnel or just deep enough, the cops won’t come there, and you will be out of sight, where the cops will eventually leave you. If you’ve been following our guides for a while, you would know that this is the exact method we used to escape the cops during the Diamond Casino heist.
And if you want, you can combine this challenge with the one needed to unlock the Unmarked Cruiser by surviving the cops for 5 minutes and then losing them, completing both challenges simultaneously.
Unlock Trade Price
To unlock the Police Riot trade price, you must complete the Tactical Gear as part of the Gangbanger Robbery as a leader.
Gauntlet Interceptor
The Gauntlet Interceptor is a 2-door police muscle car that players can purchase for $5,420,000 ($4,065,000 Trade Price) from the Warstock Cache & Carry. It becomes available after completing the ‘Slush Fund’ mission within “The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid” as a leader.
