By doing them, you’ll find all the different access points and POIs to unlock thee three casino heist approaches – The Big Con, Aggressive and Silent and Sneaky.

With the release of the Diamond Casino Heist update, Rockstar decided to add a variety of approaches you can choose to carry out the heist itself. When it debuted, this heist was one of the most complex ever delivered.

In order to carry out the heist finale, you must go through several heist preparation missions. Among the mandatory prep missions are optional prep missions as well, which you can choose to do just to make your heist finale easier. All the Access Points and Points of Interest that you need for the Diamond Casino Heist are set out for you below.

You can buy a casino model for your prep board for GTA$130,000 which shows the locations of all the Access Points. However, even that is not enough as it still does not help you pin-point the exact locations of some of the Access Points that are outside the casino.

Access Points

If you scope out all the access points, then you will have more options to enter the casino. The access points are listed below.

Access Point #1

The first access point is the main casino entrance door.

Access Point #2

The side door to the right of the casino.

Access Point #3

Side door to the left of the casino.

Access Point #4

The garage door of the security tunnel underneath the race track to the right of the casino.

Access Point #5

There’s a sewer tunnel right across the street from the casino. Head over there and go inside and take a picture of the sewer grate.

Access Point #6

Keypad door right down the stairs behind the bar.

Access Point #7

Keypad door next to the pool.

Access Point #8

Keypad door 1 around the back when you jump off the ledge of the swimming pool towards the left.

Access Point #9

Keypad door 2 around the back. After the first door around back, when you go a bit forward you will find the second door with a guard beside it.

Access Point #10

Keypad door 1 on the roof right beside the helipad.

Access Point #11

Keypad door 2 on the roof beside the helipad.

Points of Interest (POIs)

Besides the access points above, there are several points of interest which can either be identified or scoped out. These will add further options that can allow you to approach the heist in a variety of different ways. There are two parts to finding the points of interest.

You find the points of interest in the Casino Scoping mission as well as the Vault Content Scope out mission. There are a total of 11 POI that can be scoped out. All the POIs are listed below.

Casino Scope Out POIs

The following are the POI you can identify when you are carrying out the casino scope out heist prep mission.

Point of Interest #1

The old camera. You can take the picture of any one of the old camera. They are present everywhere around the casino. On the roof and the roof terrace as well. This picture is taken on the roof.

Point of Interest #2

The security guard standing beside the elevator.

Point of Interest #3

The orbital camera inside of the casino.

Point of Interest #4

The purple keypad beside the staff door which says ‘Restricted Access’ beside the chips exchange counter.

Point of Interest #5

Casino vault blueprints. You can find them sitting on the table in Agatha’s office in the management section of the casino. You need to have VIP membership in order to access this area. Go through ‘Inside Tracks’ and you will see a double door with a guard standing beside it which says ‘Management’. You need to go inside that and upstairs to Agatha’s office.

Point of Interest #6

The valet at the main entrance is also a point of interest.

Vault Content Scope Out POI

When you hack into the camera feed while doing the vault content scope out mission, you have the option to either leave the camera feed after you’ve found the vault content or to continue and find the points of interest. You can continue to check all the feeds and grab all the points of interest.

The general rule when you are identifying the POI through the camera feed is to simply scroll you camera all the way from left to right capturing everything. Once a POI is identified, you will get a notification in the bottom left corner which will say ‘Point of Interest scoped’.

To help you as much as possible all the points of interest in the camera feed nare listed below for you.

Point of Interest #1

When you hack into the staff corridor camera, move your camera all the way to the left side and once the marked door is in the feed, the POI will be identified.

Point of Interest #2

In the hotel floor camera, you need to move your camera all the way to the right until the two staff elevators are in sight. Once they are in sight the POI will be identified.

Point of Interest #3

In the vault security camera feed, you need to have the security room door in your camera feed sight and the POI will be scoped out.

Point of Interest #4

When you reach the staff lobby camera feed, you will instantly get a notification saying that a POI is scoped out. This is because the whole front desk area is the POI.

Point of Interest #5

In the staff entrance camera feed, move your camera to the left where the metal detectors are and scope them out to get a POI identified.

Point of Interest Portfolio

One you’ve found all the POI, your prep board should have all these pictures on it.

Those are all the access points and points of interest you need to know of.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to buy the penthouse to carry out the Diamond Casino Heist?

No, you do not need the penthouse to carry out the Casino Heist, however some points of interest require you to have a VIP membership in order to access them, such as the Vault Blueprint in Agatha Baker’s office.

If you take a picture of the blueprints then you will have a prototype in your Arcade basement to practice drilling on. Getting this blueprint is completely optional and it will not affect the Casino Heist experience.

Where is the waste disposal access point?

Access Point #3 is the Waste Disposal door. It is at the 0:48 minute mark in the access point video.

Best Ways to Make Money in GTA Online 2024 https://www.gtaboom.com/best-methods-to-make-money-in-gta-online-2023/ https://www.gtaboom.com/best-methods-to-make-money-in-gta-online-2023/#comments Mon, 07 Aug 2023 15:40:06 +0000 https://www.gtaboom.com/?p=77023 You can make money in GTA Online in dozens of different ways, but knowing the best way to do it will optimize your earning potential and transform the game for you.

In this article, we’ve ranked the top five best ways to make money in GTA Online and link directly to our own guides that further detail exactly how you should do them.

The ranking below goes from best to worst. However, the “worst” in this case doesn’t mean it won’t make you good money, it just means that it might be a little more complex, difficult or inefficient when compared to the higher ranked methods.

The Cayo Perico Heist

The Cayo Perico Heist is the best way to make money in GTA Online, period.

The Cayo Perico Heist has been GTA Online’s most profitable yet solo-friendly heist since it was released in December 2020. What makes this heist the best is the ease and quickness of its setup missions, as well as the finale.

Following our fixed route, you can complete the heist in under 7 minutes! Not only can you complete it very quickly though, but you can also earn the Elite Challenge completion within that same time to earn extra rewards.

You can earn up to $4 million with four players or $2.6 million as a solo player. Those numbers are in the upper spectrum of the possible payout, assuming you get the Panther Statue as your primary target.

Realistically, you can earn up to $1.5-$1.6 million as a solo player every run, which is incredible considering the short amount of time that it takes to complete the heist.

Guide: Cayo Perico Heist Guides

The Diamond Casino Heist

It has been several years since the release of the Diamond Casino Heist, yet it still stands strong in terms of payout and ease of completion. The only downside to the Diamond Casino Heist is that the setup and prep missions that can take a while to do, depending on how skilled you are. But, you can complete them fairly quickly once you get the hang of it, especially if you own a fast vehicle like an Oppressor Mark II.

Completing the Diamond Casino Heist can be very profitable as you have the potential to earn up to $10 million minimum, and that is on Normal mode. You can earn up to $11 million on Hard mode. When you take that into consideration, the setup and the prep missions don’t seem too bad!

Guide: Diamond Casino Heist Guides

Hangar

The inclusion of Hangar businesses in this list may surprise many players, as the Smuggling business wasn’t even considered in the top ten best money-making methods for a very long time. However, the Hangar business received a complete overhaul with the release of the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, making it one of the most profitable businesses, thanks to all the payout buffs it has received.

The best part is that it can be completed solo as part of the San Andreas Mercenaries DLC, and that you can sell your product using a single vehicle.

It is also a good idea to purchase the Hangar in general, as purchasing it allows you to store your air vehicles and assign your warehouse technician to the business through your Nightclub, in order to accrue goods passively for the Nightclub business (not for the hangar warehouse).

Guide: Hangar Business Guide

Agency Security Contracts

The Agency is a new property added with the release of the Contracts DLC. It unlocks many doors for new and veteran players to make money. However, it is especially good for newer players, who can quickly access the Agency property. You’ll need to purchase the Agency to start doing the Dr. Dre missions and VIP contracts, which is what we will be focusing on.

Studio Time

You can earn over $1 million for completing all the VIP contract missions. The Contract DLC also features Payphone hits, which is another great way of making money while you wait for your passive businesses to make money or cooldowns.

Payphone hits don’t take much time and can be completed within 8-10 minutes. If you complete the bonus requirement of the mission, you can earn $70k extra on top of the base $15k. So in total, you can earn $85k per Payphone hit completion.

Guide: Contract DLC & Payphone Hits Guide

Nightclub Business

At number five is the Nightclub business. The Nightclub business is one of the most complex businesses to set up, but we still think it is worth the effort: it is the best passive money-making businesses in GTA Online.

The reason it is number five on this list is that it is not beginner friendly and requires a massive initial investment to set up properly. But, you can earn millions passively while you work on other businesses in-game.

This is great if you have other, non-passive sources of income that require you to actively play them, such as the Cayo Perico heist or the Agency missions. You can complete those missions while the Nightclub accrues the materials for you passively, which is worth millions of dollars once ready for you to sell.

Guide: Nightclub Business Guide

If you’re starting out in GTA Online, check out our other money guides to save money and prioritize purchasing the Kosatka submarine. You cannot perform the Cayo Perico heist unless you purchase the Kosatka submarine. Once you’ve purchased the Kosatka, you can work your way towards earning millions and starting some of the other other businesses on this list.

That wraps up our top five best money-making methods for GTA Online in 2023.

Heist Prep Missions

We will take a look at all the prep missions that you need to do for the Silent & Sneaky approach, besides the mandatory prep missions. Though you can do these prep missions solo in either public or invite only session, it is highly recommended that you have at least one friend with you, as it will make your life a whole lot easier.

Support Crew

Gunman

When you are choosing a gunman, there’s no need to spend any time deciding which one to choose as this heist is the silent and sneaky approach! You shouldn’t expect a lot of altercations and combat situations. Therefore, we recommend you choose KARL ABOLAJI who takes only 5% from the final cut. When you are choosing the weapon loadout, we recommend the Machine Pistol loadout. It is the best of the two loadouts offered by Karl Abolaji for this approach.

Diamond Casino Heist – The Big Con Walkthrough https://www.gtaboom.com/casino-heist-big-con-guide/ https://www.gtaboom.com/casino-heist-big-con-guide/#comments Tue, 24 Dec 2019 01:22:38 +0000 https://www.gtaboom.com/?p=28033 This guide covers the optimal strategy for completing the Diamond Casino Heist using The Big Con approach. It details the essential prep missions you need to complete, including acquiring the security pass, vault keycards, and entry disguises. We then have a a step-by-step playthrough of the heist finale, showing the ideal route to take to avoid detection and escape.

Heist Prep Missions

First, we will take a look at all the important prep missions you need to do, besides the mandatory prep missions of course. Note that you can do all these heist prep missions either solo or with your friends. However, doing them with at least one friend will make things much faster and easier for you. Having said that, it is not impossible to do the prep missions on your own. You can also do the prep missions in either public or solo sessions.

Support Crew

Gunman

You do not need to worry about choosing the best gunman for the Big Con approach since you won’t be getting into combat situations. It will be a simple “in-and-out” approach. You will be using disguises to make your way in and out and shouldn’t need any weapons. Therefore, you can choose KARL ABOLAJI who only takes 5% cut. When you choose the weapons, make sure you choose the Micro SMG loadout in case the heist doesn’t go as planned. Do not choose the shotgun loadout as it does little to no damage.

Diamond Casino Heist Aggressive Approach Guide https://www.gtaboom.com/casino-heist-aggressive-guide/ https://www.gtaboom.com/casino-heist-aggressive-guide/#comments Fri, 27 Dec 2019 22:01:35 +0000 https://www.gtaboom.com/?p=28161 Here’s our complete guide detailing the prep missions, support crew considerations, and finale of the Diamond Casino Heist using the Aggressive approach. It covers essential prep work like the Duggan Shipments mission, acquiring thermal charges and vault explosives, and choosing an ideal support crew, and finishes with a step-by-step walkthrough of the heist finale, from infiltrating through the sewer tunnels to fighting through the casino and escaping.

Heist Prep Missions

Let’s take a look at all the important prep missions that need to be completed for the aggressive approach and how to do them. These prep missions can be completed either solo or with a friend and can be done in either a public or solo session. Although it is possible to complete the prep missions alone, we recommend that you enlist the help of a friend.

Support Crew

Gunman

For a gunman, players would normally go for an expert level gunman here, seeing as the approach is aggressive and requires a lot of combat during the heist. However, that is completely wrong. Do not get baited!

Instead, you can still go for KARL ABOLAJI, who takes only 5% cut. You can also choose the loadout you prefer, either the shotgun or revolver one (although we prefer the shotgun). It won’t matter as you will get the SMG with both of them… and you will mostly be using the SMG with the Aggressive approach.

If you choose a shotgun loadout then it will be beneficial in close range combat situations. In our opinion the revolver is not worth it as the fire rate isn’t too good given the combat nature of the heist. So you should choose the shotgun loadout which will give you a shotgun and SMG to carry out the heist finale.

Unlocking Yung Ancestor, Diamond Casino Heist Walkthrough https://www.gtaboom.com/unlock-yung-ancestor-diamond-casino-heist-walkthrough/ https://www.gtaboom.com/unlock-yung-ancestor-diamond-casino-heist-walkthrough/#comments Tue, 31 Dec 2019 21:44:59 +0000 https://www.gtaboom.com/?p=28435 The Diamond Casino Heist’s Big Con approach has a new entry disguise option with the release of the After Hours DLC – Yung Ancestor. This hip hop star persona allows you to infiltrate the casino in style and pull off the heist undetected.

Unlocking Yung Ancestor as an entry disguise requires completing a few setup missions first. Once unlocked, it provides a fresh and entertaining way to tackle the Big Con approach. The core steps of the heist remain the same, but with some unique flavor thanks to Yung Ancestor’s involvement.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to unlock the Yung Ancestor disguise and provide a detailed walkthrough for completing the Big Con approach using this new option. We’ll cover the required prep missions, offer tips for sneaking through the casino undetected, and explain the best route to escape with the loot.

Unlocking Yung Ancestor

You can unlock Yung Ancestor by going to the casino and taking the elevator to the roof terrace. Once you reach the terrace a cut scene will start. After it ends, you need to wait for Lester’s call. After he’s done calling you, head back to the arcade basement and Yung Ancestor will give you a call. Once that call ends, you will notice a purple colored “card” on your heist prep board. You should also notice two boxes underneath it that represent the two prep missions you need to do before you can choose the ‘Yung Ancestor’ entry disguise.

GTA Online’s Diamond Casino Guide https://www.gtaboom.com/diamond-casino-guide/ https://www.gtaboom.com/diamond-casino-guide/#comments Mon, 22 Jul 2019 22:43:44 +0000 https://www.gtaboom.com/?p=25570 The Diamond Casino & Resort update for GTA Online is one of the most significant and content-rich additions to the game yet. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to make the most of your time at the Diamond. We’ll cover how to gain access to the casino, the co-op and casino work missions, all the ways you can gamble and win big, the customizable penthouse that can become your new home, hidden collectibles to discover, and the sleek new vehicles that can be yours.

If you’re looking for a guide to the Diamond Casino Heist click here.

Gaining Access To The Diamond Casino

Like most DLCs since Further Adventures in Finance and Felony, to actually access the new content at the Diamond Casino you’ll need to make an initial investment of sorts.

Previously, this involved buying specific properties like offices or bunkers, but you can’t buy the Diamond Casino this time around, no matter how many Shark Cards you’ve splurged on. Instead, players must buy memberships which give them access to the gambling opportunities at the Casino.

Standard Diamond memberships don’t cost too much, but they also come with limited perks – you can only access the casino portion of the Diamond and even then, not all gambling activities. You will gain access to the Diamond’s garage though, allowing you to store one car.

Instead, to access the Resort, the high-limit tables and more, you’ll need a VIP membership, which is significantly more expensive.

This membership nets you a fancy penthouse which you can customize to your heart’s desire, including with a personal spa, partying area, roof garden access, exquisite artworks and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to try your luck as a real high-roller at the high-limit tables in the Diamond Casino, and insert coins again and again at the retro arcade.

The main attraction of getting a VIP membership, however, is gaining access to Diamond Casino Missions.

Two kinds of missions will become available to you once you have a VIP membership. Co-op Missions (which can also be completed solo as of a December 13, 2022 update) follow a loose storyline involving a hostile Texan oil magnate trying to encroach upon Tao Cheng’s business. Cheng, the owner of the Diamond, looks to his illustrious and infamous clientele to protect his business interests.

There are a total of six co-op missions, all of which pay out extra rewards the first time you complete them. The standard payout for completing a mission is GTA$11,000 – 15,000 depending on the time it takes, however you get an additional GTA$50,000 the first time you finish each one, which doubles up to GTA$100,000 on the last one.

The order of the co-op missions is as follows:

  1. Loose Cheng
  2. Housekeeping
  3. Strongarm Tactics
  4. Play To Win
  5. Bad Beat
  6. Cashing Out

If you host the co-op lobby and manage to complete all six missions in order, in one sitting, you’ll get an exclusive “hidden” vehicle. The Enus Armored Paragon car is spawned at the docks if you are eligible, and cannot be acquired in any other way.

There is another bonus payout of GTA$ 500,000 if you manage to play through the six missions in order the first time you play them. If you play the missions but don’t finish them in order, you won’t have another chance to try for this bonus, ever. This adds on top of the other first-time completion bonuses, and the bonus GTA$ 50,000 gained from every mission completed without a death.

Note that co-op missions cannot be played solo. There is also no way to ensure that you are the host of the given session – it’s a gamble!

In addition, to be able to progress within the co-op missions, the host must elect to do so. So unless you are hosting yourself, or get lucky with a competent host, you might be stuck repeating the same mission. Currently, there is no easy workaround for this.

You can keep retrying when joining Casino Missions to see if you get lucky by being the host. Keep in mind that to get the Host bonuses, you need to play through all six missions as host. If you’ve been playing through them but only Host the last one, for example, you don’t get the Enus Armored Paragon.

The other kind of missions are Casino Work Missions, accessible by calling Agatha Baker. These are less lucrative than the co-op missions and lack the overarching storyline, but can be completed quicker and alone.

Services

Once you become a member of the Diamond by purchasing a penthouse, you can call Agatha Baker for one of three things. These services are entirely free of charge. These are not available if you have a wanted level.

Car Service

You can call Ms. Baker to request a vehicle to be spawned. The options are limited, with the Cognoscenti Cabrio, the Windsor, the Fugitive, the Super Diamond, the Dubsta, and the Feltzer – the fastest among the choices – being available. You don’t need to own any of these vehicles to be able to order one.

The spawned car cannot be placed into a garage or insured and the game does not consider them personal or Pegasus vehicles giving them a new marker. The cars aren’t stock, but carry certain upgrades such as bulletproof tires and performance upgrades.

Note that the cars are set to public access, so any other player can enter and steal the car if you’re not careful. The vehicle will spawn right next to your character when called. If you enter a building interior the ordered car will automatically despawn. There is a 2-minute cooldown for using this service starting after the vehicle is spawned.

Limousine Service

The limo service works in a very similar manner as the taxi service, but as mentioned previously, is free for penthouse owners. When called, the limo will spawn right beside the player and can be either white or black. When you sit in, the limo will automatically drive towards the Diamond, but you can also set a waypoint and it will drive you there.

The limo driver will not be intimidated by attacks or weapon use and will only exit the limo if it flips over. This feature makes the limo a perfect getaway vehicle if you need to escape from cops, enemies or other players. You can kill the driver and take the car, but it cannot be stored or tracked, and doing so will yield a wanted level.

You can give the driver various instructions, such as to speed up, slow down, or to stop entirely.

An additional feature of the Limo service is that when called from your penthouse’s landline, or ordered from the Diamond Casino’s front desk, it can be used as a free fast travel feature instantly transporting you to one of the locations marked on the map below (made by @borqer):

Casino Work

You can also request additional missions from Agatha Baker, as mentioned above in the Missions section. These missions can be completed alone and take anywhere between 2 to 15 minutes to complete depending on which variant you get. You cannot choose the mission type, as that is randomly assigned.

The reward for successfully completing a mission is 5,000 Chips and GTA$5,000-10,000 depending on time taken. There are at least 14 confirmed mission variants. These jobs have a hidden 3 minute cooldown and the locations are randomized. Completing 50 Casino Work Missions will grant you a bonus of GTA$180,000.

  1. Safe Bet – Escort a security van to the Diamond from a random point on the map while defending it from waves of enemy attackers driving Kurumas and bikes.
  2. Bargaining Chips – Search through 5 zones each with a suspect for a thief who stole chips from the Diamond. The thief NPC cannot be locked on, but does not escape due to weapons fire. The Thief can be killed, which will give you a wanted level, or pressured into returning the chips. This can be the longest mission depending on how many areas you need to search before finding the thief, so it may not be worth doing.
  3. When the chips are down – Go to the mission area, clear out hostiles, use the provided sticky bombs to destroy supplies.
  4. Undisclosed Cargo – Take a corpse in the trunk of the provided car to a drop-off point. The route will be watched by unmarked police vehicles that will cause a mission failure if you attract attention.
  5. Recovery Time – Retrieve a vehicle from an impound lot by stealthly stealing the key, then driving the vehicle back to the Diamond. Even if you are not detected, taking the vehicle out of the lot will give you an automatic wanted level.
  6. Department of Defense – Protect the Diamond from attacking thugs, then tail their van to the gang leader. Make sure to stay far away from the van since the line of sight goes through buildings and the detection range is large.
  7. Lost in Transit – Track a stolen van by listening for gunshots, kill the hostiles, retrieve the van and drive it back to the Diamond while fending off waves of two attacking Kurumas.
  8. Severance – Go to the mission area, then chase down and kill the chip thief on a bike before he reaches LSIA. The bike cannot be locked on to, and the thief cannot be knocked off the bike. When you retrieve the stolen chips you get an automatic wanted level, which you need to lose, then return the money to the Diamond.
  9. Best Laid Plans – Prevent a heist in the Diamond. First you need to take out one of the heist crew members, steal his keycard, reach the mission area and kill the other heist members. Access the laptop, then travel to the marked locations to finish off the remaining enemies.
  10. Judgement Call – Intimidate a judge with a warning shot or by beating him up with a bat. You are given a suppressed pistol and a baseball bat for this mission. You need to approach the mission area and kill the guards stealthily – detection causes mission failure. You need to intimidate the judge several times and he will attempt to flee in a vehicle. This can be avoided to finish the mission quickly, but if he reaches the vehicle, you will need to chase him while being attacked by waves of two Kurumas. You need to cripple the wheels of the judge’s getaway car and then intimidate him. Killing the judge causes mission failure.
  11. High Rollin’ – Drive a limo with a VIP to the Diamond. Driving faster than 40 MPH will decrease the GTA$ reward of the mission.
  12. Fake News – Locate a News Rump Van in one of five marked locations. Once you find the van, tail it to the next location where a reported will get out. Knock out or kill the reporter, retrieve their wallet and leave the mission area.
  13. One Armed Bandit – Go to the docks and identify the objective container based on a code, which is being guarded by opponents. Deliver the container to the Diamond using the Skylift.
  14. Damage Control – Drive a Mule back to the Diamond within the allotted time. Triggers randomly when the player blacks out from Macbeth shots at the Casino Bar.

Gambling

Gambling Geo Restrictions: Gambling options in the Diamond Casino may not be available in your region. Certain regions will display a “This feature is not available for you” message when attempting to play a gambling mini-game. Some regions still allow the purchase of chips, so make sure to try using the complimentary chips first! Check our list of restricted countries below.

Of course, chances are you’ll be spending most of your time in the Diamond Casino at the tables. Gambling options are somewhat limited and you can only play against the house. The games are heavily abstracted to fit into the mini-game structure, so knowledge of the actual rules of Blackjack or Poker isn’t necessary – the game contains a rundown of its own rules.

You’ll be able to win additional chips, GTA$, and items at the tables and slots, but you’ll also be losing a lot along the way, so make sure to gamble responsibly – especially if you’re the kind of player that spends on Shark Cards.

The full selection of gambling options include Blackjack, Three Card Poker, Roulette, Slots, Lucky Wheel and Inside Track.

Gambling mini-games are played with chips and there are no opportunities to play against other players. Chips can be bought with GTA$, and they can also be cashed out as GTA$ when you’re finished.

A Standard Diamond Membership, required to access the casino, will grant you 5,000 chips as a welcoming gift, and >all players can claim 1,000 bonus chips daily.

The conversion rate is 1 Chip = 1 GTA$.

You can purchase a maximum of 50,000 chips every in-game day, which equates to 48 minutes in real-time. It is possible to circumvent this timer by purchasing the maximum number of chips, disconnecting your internet, reconnecting, and logging back into GTA Online. Your timer will be reset.

Blackjack

The version of Blackjack used in GTA Online has a few slight quirks. The dealer uses four decks with 80 face cards, and the decks are shuffled after each hand.

Counting cards seems to be a viable strategy in Blackjack, and can help you increase your win rate. Even using a basic strategy chart will help you get a bit of an edge, though the game is still weighed in the house’s favor. Something that many players have noted and documented is that the house “cheats” in so far as the dealer will often have access to more 21 cards than should be possible, and pulls them up at the worst possible moments.

Nonetheless, a basic chart like this one, from Blackjack Apprenticeship, should help you out at the tables.

Three Card Poker

Three Card Poker is a simpler game, but the odds are also more in favor of the house. You need to get a 2 pair which consist of two 2 cards, a 3 pair consisting of three 3s, a straight which is a hand of a 5, a 6 and a 7, or a flush which is a 8, a 9 and a 10 of the same suit. The flush is the strongest hand.

The basic strategy here is quite simple, but as a result of the odds and simplicity of the strategy, its efficacy is also somewhat limited. Simply put, you shouldn’t make pair plus bets in order to maximize your profits.

Statistically, an easy rule of thumb to follow is that you should fold hands that are weaker than a Queen, a 6 and a 4, and call with a hand that is equal to or stronger than that hand.

Roulette

There’s a lot less strategy involved in roulette than in the card games, if you can call these tips ‘strategy at all’. This is one of those games where hunches or personal superstitions come into play. Some people always put on red, some always on black.

If there can be any actual tips for increasing your winnings, it would be to pay attention to how the results tally out and try to make an educated guess on what the next result will be.

Slots, Inside Track

We lumped these two together for a simple reason – there is absolutely no strategy involved, and it comes down to pure luck. Go with your gut, and bet low.

Lucky Wheel

Spinning the Diamond Casino’s Lucky Wheel is an easy way to win if you are using a controller (including a PC controller). It works by rotating the left analog stick. The speed at which the wheel turns is directly proportional to how quickly you twist the stick, so with a bit of practice, you can win exactly what you want from the wheel. You can spin the Lucky Wheel once every real-time day.

It is possible to reset the timer by immediately disconnecting your internet after you spun the wheel. Note that this will allow you to spin again, but you won’t retain your reward if done correct, because the whole point of the method is to prevent the servers from saving.

Lucky Wheel prizes include large sums of chips, a “mystery” reward which is undefined and even a free high-end vehicle, which rotates – both literally on a circular podium in the Diamond lobby, and figuratively, with a different vehicle being on offer each week.

There are over 130 possibilities when rolling a Mystery reward. So far, these have been confirmed:

Keep in mind that currently, vehicles won from the Lucky Wheel are marked as fully insured, however in practice, they aren’t – if the reward vehicle is destroyed, it’s gone for good. It is unclear if this is a bug or a deliberate mechanic installed by Rockstar since winning vehicles is so easy. You can always buy insurance for any car won, though. Just note that cars won via the Lucky Wheel cannot be sold (well, technically they can, but only for GTA$ 0).

Casino Store

The casino store is a new location inside the Diamond where you can purchase various items. New clothing items added to the game with this update are only available here, and you can also purchase decor for your penthouse using chips in the Casino Store.

Currently, the gross total for all artwork available in the Casino Store adds up to 3,926,050 chips. If the only way you acquire chips is by buying the hourly maximum (50,000), that means over 64 hours until you can buy them all – so you better start winning big!

Penthouse

If you’ve bought a VIP membership you’ll have a personal Master Penthouse waiting for you at the top of the Diamond for any time you visit. The Penthouse acts as a property and spawn point and can be customized extensively. Pick your preferred décor and style, and pimp out your pad with a selection of fine art straight from the Casino store.

You can add modules to your penthouse as well, such as the personal spa with a stylist – this allows for character customization – or a partying area – this adds interactive objects to your penthouse which can be used to fool around with when you invite other players up. A fully upgraded penthouse decked out with everything will cost a total of GTA$ 6,533,500.

There are three pre-built Penthouse variations and a fourth that allows you to customize the penthouse to your own liking.

  • Cash Pad: GTA$ 1.5million
  • Party Penthouse: GTA$ 3.78million
  • High Roller: GTA$ 6.5million (this variant is not available in regions where the gambling features aren’t either)
  • “Design Your Own”: GTA$ 1.5million

Customization Options:

  • Color options: GTA$215,000 or GTA$ 258,500
  • Pattern options: GTA$92,000 – GTA$ 210,000

There are several differences between the variations based on what modules they are supplied with. We strongly suggest buying the Design Your Own Penthouse, but we’ll give you a rundown on the other options as well.

The Cash Pad is the “basic” penthouse which contains no additional modules at all. The Cash Pad also doesn’t allow for later expansion via modules, unless you “renovate” it to become the Design Your Own variant. That means no garage, no spa, no party hub or any other module. You can, however, purchase artworks to decorate the penthouse with and can access customization options.

The Party Penthouse comes with the stock penthouse area, as well as the Lounge, Party Hub, Spa and Extra Bedroom. You cannot add other modules or remove these from your penthouse.

The High Roller penthouse contains all of the available modules but is locked to the most expensive pattern and color options with no way to change them. If you’re just going to buy every module and the most expensive options, this is an easy one-click way to do so. It’s important to note that this module is not available in regions where the gambling features aren’t either.

The Design Your Own penthouse is the same as the Cash Pad in so far as it contains no modules. It does, however, give you the opportunity to purchase modules one by one, letting you customize what functionality your penthouse possesses. We don’t really know why the Cash Pad even exists, since the two cost the same amount and the Cash Pad doesn’t let you customize it later on, but there you have it.

If you bought the Design Your Own penthouse – as you should – you can purchase these modules individually.

  • Lounge Area: $GTA 400,000 – Prerequisite for all other modules except Garage and Extra Bedroom, which can be bought without it
  • Media Room: $GTA 500,000 – Allows you to view the short animated films that are played in the various cinemas around Los Santos
  • Bar and Party Hub: $GTA 700,000 – Provides access to drinks, interactable items and the Retro Arcade with two exclusive games
  • Private Dealer: $GTA 1.1million – Allows you to play casino mini-games in your penthouse, switch between Blackjack and Poker using the interaction menu
  • Office: $GTA 200,000 – Includes a gun locker and computer. Note that you cannot manage your businesses from this office
  • Extra Bedroom: $GTA 200,000 – Aesthetic, allows other player characters to sleep
  • Garage: $GTA 800,000 – 10 slots
  • Spa: $600,000 – Aesthetic.

You need to pay a daily utility fee of GTA$ 500 for owning a penthouse and an additional GTA$ 100 for every module.

Playing Cards

A new set of hidden collectibles were added to GTA Online with the Diamond Casino update. 54 vintage playing cards are scattered across the game map in hard to find locations. Finding the cards will earn you RP and chips to be used at the casino.

Finding all 54 will unlock an exclusive High Roller Outfit and a special set of playing cards to be used by your dealer at the Diamond. You can also put the rare vintage cards on display in your penthouse as a trophy celebrating your achievement!

These playing cards also reward you with chips. Finding the first five will grant you 100 chips each, totalling at 500. From the fifth onward, each card will grant an additional 50 chips compared to the previous. This means the 6th card gives 150 chips, the 7th gives 200, the 8th gives 250 and so on all the way to the 54th card, which will reward you with a bonus of 2,550 chips. The total number of chips gained from cards is 66,650, worth the same amount in GTA$.

Known Locations

The map below will show you the locations where the playing cards can be found. Refer to our written descriptions for specific card locations – some are tricky to find even if you know the place. We also have a separate guide on finding all the collectible cards and unlocking the High Roller outfit here.

The Diamond Casino & Resort DLC added six new vehicles to GTA Online that are available from various in-game dealerships.
