Fastest HSW Cars in GTA Online (GTA 5 Hao’s Special Works List)

There's new speed leaders in GTA Online thanks to Hao's Special Works upgrades.

GTA Online constantly undergoes changes and the best vehicle “meta” shifts. One notable change is the introduction of PS5 and Xbox X|S exclusive Hao’s Special Works (HSW) upgrades, enabling next-generation console players to surpass regular top speeds by a considerable margin.

Because of this, next-generation console players have their ranking of the fastest cars determined by the fully upgraded HSW tuning. For PC players without HSW access, refer to our guide covering the fastest cars normally.

The cars are ranked by top speed and also lap time ranking because we also need to consider the performance of these HSW vehicles during races. The best Top line speed does not necessarily mean faster lap times!

Fastest HSW Cars List (Top Speed)

The following list of top ten HSW fastest cars in GTA Online for PS5 and Xbox X|S are ranked from the fastest to the slowest.

Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT

The Itali GTO Stinger TT, inspired by the real-life Ferrari Roma and with design elements borrowed from the Ferrari Purosangue’s headlights, is the fastest fully upgraded HSW vehicle in GTA Online. It reaches an impressive top speed of 168.5 mph (271.2 km/h), securing its top position in the list and in its own Sports class.

Shitzu Hakuchou Drag

The Shitzu Hakuchou Drag, a RWD motorcycle weighing 270 kg, is inspired by the real-life Suzuki Hayabusa. It achieves a top speed of 157.5 mph (253.5 km/h) and secures the second spot in its class among 52 motorcycles in GTA Online.

The base variant of the Shitzu Hakuchou Drag is available at Legendary Motorsport for $976,000, with HSW upgrades priced at $1,450,000.

Declasse Vigero ZX

The Vigero ZX is a 2-seater RWD weighing around 1,760 kg. It’s heavily influenced by the 2017-2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, drawing wheel design cues from the 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE.

The ZX attains a top speed of 157.5 mph (253.5 km/h), equalling the top speed of the Shitzu Hakuchou Drag, a noteworthy achievement considering bikes usually outpace most sports cars. This places the Vigero ZX at the top of its class among 74 other muscle cars.

The base version of the Vigero ZX can be bought from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $1,947,000. You can add HSW upgrades for just $385,000, which is considerably less than the previous two vehicles.

Benefactor Stirling GT

The Benefactor Stirling GT is an RWD car that accommodates two people (a driver and a passenger). It weighs around 1,330 kg and achieves a top speed of 156.75 mph (252.3 km/h). The vehicle takes heavy inspiration from several Mercedes-Benz models such as the 300 SL, 300 SLR, and the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé.

The Stirling GT stands as the fastest vehicle in its Sports Classic class when considering top speed. The class encompasses around 42 vehicles when considering top speed.

The Benefactor Stirling GT, previously priced at $975,000 from Legendary Motorsports, is no longer available for purchase directly. It can now be obtained randomly through the Premium Deluxe Motorsport and Luxury Autos showrooms or the Lucky Wheel at the Diamond Casino. The HSW upgrade for the Benefactor Stirling GT costs $855,000.

Karin S95

The Karin S95, influenced by the Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ, and Scion FR-S, reaches a top speed of 155.5 mph (250.3 km/h). It ranks third in its class among 105 vehicles.

The hardtop variant costs $105,000, the topless variant costs $126,000, and the HSW upgrades for The Bravado Banshee are priced at $1,840,000.

Principe Deveste Eight

Despite new car introductions and upgrades in GTA Online, the Principe Deveste Eight always manages to rank among the fastest cars.

Principe Deveste Eight.

The Principe Deveste Eight, based on the real Devel Sixteen concept hypercar, is an RWD car that accommodates up to two passengers and weighs approximately 3,000 kg. It achieves a top speed of 151.75 mph (244.2 km/h), securing the top position among 58 other Supercars in its class.

The stock Principe Deveste Eight is available for $1,795,000 at Legendary Motorsport, while its HSW upgrades cost $1,110,000.

Overflod Entity MT

The Overflod Entity MT, a 2-seater RWD supercar, attains a top speed of 150.5 mph (242.2 km/h), ranking it just under the Principe Deveste Eight in the Supercars class. The Entity MT weighs approximately 1,420 kg.

The Entity MT is largely inspired by the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, incorporating design elements from the Koenigsegg Regera, evident in its lower front fascia and side vents.

The standard model of the Overflod Entity MT is available for $2,355,000 from Legendary Motorsport, and the HSW upgrades for the Entity MT cost $650,000.

Grotti Turismo Classic

The Grotti Turismo Classic, a 2-seater RWD Sports Classic, hits a top speed of 150.5 mph (242.2 km/h), securing the second-best position among 42 cars in its class.

The Turismo Classic is heavily inspired by the iconic 1980s Ferrari models, notably the Ferrari F40. The Turismo Classic costs $705,000 from Legendary Motorsport and its HSW variant upgrade is $897,000.

Pegassi Weaponized Ignus

The final car on the list is the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus. Pegassi Weaponized Ignus is a custom armed 2-seater All-wheel drive (AWD) hypercar, weighing approximately 1,650 kg. Ignus is primarily based on the real life Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. This is evident from the dark green color of the Weaponized Ignus which the real life Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 shares.

Pegassi Weaponized Ignus.

The Pegassi Weaponized Ignus reaches a top speed of 146.25 mph (235.4 km/h), placing it third among 58 Super cars. Unfortunately, although it’s listed, we don’t recommended that newer players buy this vehicle due to its high cost without offering the fastest speed.

The stock Pegassi Weaponized Ignus is priced at $4,500,000 from Warstock Cache & Carry. Adding the HSW upgrades will cost an extra $500,000, making the total $5,000,000. While it’s a fast vehicle, its cost might not justify the speed compared to others on the list.

Fastest HSW Cars List (Lap Times)

A car’s ability to reach top speed in a straight line might differ from its performance during races, which relies on handling too, and for which lap times are a better measure. In this list, we’ve ranked the HSW cars based on their fastest lap times.

The cars are ranked from the fastest lap time to the slowest.

  1. Shitzu Hakuchou Drag: 0m:52.736s
  2. Pegassi Weaponized Ignus: 0m:55.589s
  3. Coil Cyclone II: 0m:55.823s
  4. Penaud La Coureuse: 0m:56.129s
  5. Principe Deveste Eight: 0m:58.359s
  6. Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT: 0m:59.292s
  7. Karin S95: 0m:59.925s
  8. Maibatsu MonstroCiti: 1m:00.327s
  9. Overflod Entity MT: 1m:00.494s
  10. Grotti Turismo Classic: 1m:00.693

Despite being ranked highest for top speed, the Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT is placed sixth for lap time, while the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus, last in top speed, is second in lap time. This could justify the higher cost of the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus, as it outperforms other cars in practicality.

It is also interesting to see that the Coil Cyclone II takes an impressive third place on the lap time list, maintaining its high rank from our non-HSW vehicle ranking.

Best HSW Vehicle Overall

Although it’s at the bottom of the fastest vehicle list, the Pegassi Weaponized Ignus is the best HSW car for a couple of reasons.

The Pegassi Weaponized Ignus has an excellent car lap time, only behind the Shitzu Hakuchou Drag bike, making it exceptionally agile in turns and the fastest car, according to lap time. While the Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT excels in straight-line speed, its handling may pose challenges in comparison.

Pegassi Weaponized Ignus.

The Weaponized Ignus also has the Imani Tech. It is the only HSW upgraded vehicle that has the Imani Tech, which makes this vehicle extremely valuable. Imani Tech is a rare upgrade exclusive to certain vehicles from The Contract update.

The Imani Tech provides unique upgrades, offering three useful options: armor plating for added defense, protection from homing missiles, and remote vehicle control. These upgrades can be obtained from the Agency’s hacker.

When you enter a vehicle capable of equipping Imani Tech, you get this message at the top-left corner of your screen.

The added protection serves as resistance against homing missiles, but does not guarantee immunity. While it offers defense, it won’t stop your vehicle from being destroyed, although it can withstand more damage before being disabled.

The Weaponized Ignus stands out as the top vehicle on the list because it’s the sole hypercar with both Imani Tech and HSW upgrades. It offers speed, handling, and exceptional protection, making it the best HSW vehicle. And of course, it looks great!
